Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce {Recipe, Review + Giveaway}

I guess you could say I've been a "long time follower" of Country Bob's. I've seen them around for quite some time, heard stories of the fabulous recipes online, and participated in giveaways on their Facebook page for a chance to win some All Purpose Sauce. And now, I finally have the pleasure of saying that I've tried it, and it is AMAZING!

Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce can be used on just about everything: Chicken, steak, hamburger, veggies, fries, anything the grill, etc.

First, I just had to try it out as my favorite dipping sauce: BBQ sauce for chicken nuggets. I cooked-up some of my favorite frozen nuggets, Applegate Naturals, and dipped-away! Let me tell you, I was slightly turned off by the smell of the sauce at first. It smells similar to another popular steak sauce sold in stores which shall remain nameless- quite bitter and acidic. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted sweetness in place of the tartness I was expecting. SO GOOD!

Sorry, I tend to get carried away with exclamations when talking about good eats. Back to the factual stuff. The only negative I've found with Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce is that it contains high fructose corn syrup, which I try to avoid. It also has regular sugar and corn syrup, so it's fairly high on the processed-sugar amounts. Enjoyed in moderation, however, this poses no problem!

Country Bob's website has tons of easy recipes using all of their products: All Purpose Sauces, BBQ Sauce, and Seasoning Salt. The one that caught my eye immediately was Country Bob's Meatloaf, yum! I decided we'd have it for dinner last night, so here's my unbaked loaf:

And my baked loaf!

1 1/2 lbs lean hamburger
1/4 cup chopped onions
12 crushed saltine crackers
2 eggs, beaten
1 T Country Bob's Seasoning Salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 cup Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy)
1/4 cup milk

Mix all ingredients together, place in baking dish, shape in loaf, pour a little more Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce on top and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

I didn't have Country Bob's seasoning salt or saltines, so I substituted with regular seasoned salt and breadcrumbs. Still came out delicious!
