Candle Warmers, Etc. & Fire Prevention Week: October 7-13

With the cooler weather rolling in and the hot summer days gone my mind automatically wanders to the upcoming Holidays. What's the first thing I think of to set the mood? Candles! A warm home with the aroma of pumpkins and spice is so inviting and cozy, I feel a little humble just thinking about it. However, with any open flame comes the risk of fire, and with little munchkins in the house it's not a risk to take lightly. Candles are one of the leading causes of household fires, but fortunately there are measures you can take to reduce your chances of a dangerous fire in your home.
Fire Prevention Week takes place from October 7th-13th, and the folks at Candle Warmers, Etc. take pride in Going Flameless and practicing Candle-Sense by creating the original safer alternative to traditional open-flame candles.

These are a couple of Candle Warmers, Etc.'s Holiday Illumination Fragrance Warmers. How stinkin' cute are they?! The wax warmers consist of a small light bulb inside of a ceramic holder that, when plugged in and turned on, warms and melts the wax without the risk of using fire. The specially formulated wax cubes release fragrance into the air of your home, while the light bulb glows warmly through small openings in the decorative holder. It's a win-win! You get the same lovely scents and cozy glow as a traditional candle without the fire hazard and potentially dangerous soot from the burning wick.

Candle Warmers, Etc. carry several other types of non-flame candle warmers, too.  Here's the gorgeous Hurricane Candle Warmer Lantern, which heats a more traditional-like candle via a small overhead lamp:

And one of my favorites, for those of us who tend to forget to turn things off when we leave the house, the Auto Shutoff Candle Warmer. This is a plate warmer that heats a candle from below, and automatically shuts off after 8 hours. No more worries about accidentally leaving a candle burning overnight!

I strongly urge every household to try a candle warmer, especially if you live in an area with dry air and brush. Everyone can benefit from the use of a candle warmer, and they work wonders for livening-up the mood of visitors to your home. They're also make a wonderful gift for men and women alike!
