Continuing from the exciting events of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, the five Turbo Rangers use their new powers, weapons and high-tech supercharged vehicles to battle evil at faster speeds than ever before!
The beautiful yet vicious space pirate Divatox follows the Power Rangers to Angel Grove to get revenge for ruining her planned wedding to the volcanic island deity Maligore. From her mobile Subcraft armed to the gills with torpedoes and explosives and crewed by a motley bunch of monsters, she relentlessly pursues our heroes. But the Rangers are not alone in their fight, as they are aided by Dimitria, a wise sage and friend of Zordon; Alpha 6, an advanced robotic sidekick with a streetwise demeanor, the Blue Senturion, a robotic intergalactic traffic cop from the future; and the elusive Phantom Rangers, a one-man army whose very identity is a mystery. An all-new team of Rangers is armed and ready to carry on the Power Rangers legacy!
Jace and his "ninja" fighting...it never ends! Though Power Rangers aren't quite ninjas, they are close enough in his eyes. It's adorable to see my munchkin get all excited over the action happening on-screen in Power Rangers Turbo, running around and creating his own choreography of kicks, punches, and angry faces.
While the Turbo series isn't the generation I remember as a child (old as dirt, I remember kids in my elementary school dressing up as Jason from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the first franchise!), the next generation's Power Rangers proves to be full of cheesy action sequences and campy villains all-the-same. Like it's predecessor, Power Rangers Turbo teaches young kids how to work together as a team using each person's individual strengths. There's never a shortness of courage and selflessness in Angel Grove, the Power Ranger's hometown, and the teenage rangers are always eager to help anyone in need. Perfect morals to teach children of any age!
