Our Thoughts:

I remember when the first Toy Story came out in theaters in 1995, it became an instant box office hit! I was in junior high, and my little brother was just a pre-schooler, so of course we were all up in that business. The characters easily became our family's favorites, and even now as an adult I have all three films on DVD. I'm so happy that there are still Toy Story shorts coming out that the newer generations can watch and enjoy!

Toy Story of Terror is a 21-minute short that tells about the adventure of Bonnie and her toys on a road trip. Along the way the family car gets a flat tire and Bonnie and her mom are forced to stop and stay at a roadside motel, much to the toys' dismay. Their imaginations run wild, and shenanigans ensue...oh, the suspense! My munchkin jumped with fright more than a few times, but all in good fun. Can the toys escape the motel together, or will more of their friends mysteriously disappear one by one?

I especially loved that Jessie took center stage in this short, along with some storytelling help from Mr. Pricklepants the hedgehog and a new supporting character, Combat Carl.

Combat Carl never gives up. Combat Carl finds a way!

This story is really cute, a guaranteed favorite with kids and adults of all ages! It teaches kids never to give up, to keep trying until they find a way to overcome their fears and obstacles in front of them.

Toy Story of Terror is now available at retailers nation-wide! You can pick up a copy at your local Wal-mart, Target, and many other stores where videos are sold, including Amazon.
