Heroes Save the Day in August's Loot Crate! {Review}

  It's time for August's Loot Crate review! Woohoo!

  Loot Crate hardly needs an introduction anymore, but if you're unfamiliar with this uber-famous geek + gamer subscription box be sure to head over to my May Loot Crate and July Loot Crate reviews for more info. As for this heroic Loot, I'm going to just dive right in...

  As always, the box that the Loot comes in is awesome! This one mimics the sewer home of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, complete with pull-out 3D couch for your turtle buddies to sit on. Now for the contents:

1.  Funko POP! Groot Exclusive Bobblehead
     Everyone loves POP figures! This one is no different...it even glows in the dark! This little Groot is a Loot Crate Exclusive variant, which means you can't purchase it anywhere else. Guardians of the Galaxy fans will totally dig this one, I love it!

2.  Kidrobot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ooze Action Figure
     These little guys glow in the dark, too! While I am not a fan of the newest TMNT incarnation, I do love the retro turtles mucho. We received Raphael, one of my favorites, and my munchkin has commandeered him. (and has since pulled apart his arms, legs, and head, unfortunately.) These turtles fit right into the Loot Crate box, too!

3.  TMNT Mask Glasses
     These stylish sunglasses transform the wearer into their favorite TMNT turtle...Cowabunga, dudes!

4.  Lace-on Shoe Lightning Bolts
     Lace these puppies right onto your favorite pair of shoes (sorry, 90's velcro-lacers) and gain +10 speed in all your adventures! They're double-sided and are soft yet sturdily made, I wore these while doing backroom retail work for a few weeks and they still show little wear.

5.  Sonic, Mega Man, or Proto Air Freshener, Chimichang'os Magnet, and pin

6. Bonus Digital Loot
     Bonus digital loot includes: Doctor Who Legacy codes, an in-game helm trophy in Gauntlet, and the complete Defense Grid: The Awakening game.

This Loot Crate was GREAT! There was something for each member of our family in it this month, as there usually is, and at $20 (shipping included) it was a steal!
